Just spent a week at this lovely site, unfortunately the stay was totally spoilt by the number of dogs constantly barking. The dog owners seem oblivion to the noise their 'pets' are causing. Please you owners make the effort to control your animals so the rest of us can enjoy our stay!

I personally think our site staff have enough on their plate without chasing up irresponsible dog owners. Non members use this site, so perhaps this is the problem? Or the lack of respect for other people which is norm in our Society today!

well member or not, by staying on site they agree to be bound bu the club's regulations.

Well the club suggests telling the wardens, if you don't think that is the way forward then what do you suggest?

Merlin,

Seeing as you didn't want to over burden the Wardens, did you in fact find it within yourself to have a quiet word  with the owner? This action may have yielded better results for you....cool

Merlin53 im assuming my PUPPY will be one of those you are talking about well instead of assuming its a dog barking maybe find out more about the dog. Our dog is a 8month old puppy who when barks his tail is going furiously as all he wants is your attention. We are doing things to try and help with the barking so please dont assume its just people letting their dogs bark. I'm sorry you say you stay was spoiled by the barking dogs well for us it was the arrogant ignorant people who spoiled our stay.

Why find out more about the dog? What assumption? If it barks then it barks. Full stop really. The reason for barking is pretty irrelevant to others

True we have only been using club sites for 13 years, but not a phenomenon we have come across. Perhaps the odd one that can't keep quiet, although you could say the same about some of the human occupants.😉

We are not and never have been dog owners, so no bias.

It seems non members, those who by their own admission are rare cc site users, and those with an axe to grind "attract" the perceived problems with dogs, as we do not seem to get the problems that are by some "noted" across the cc and  if correct would also be with most other Leisure companies,no matter what is percievedundecided

Dogs do not have to bark. The good ones on sites have been trained not to. By suggesting that it cannot be stopped owners are either admitting that they don't know how to, or are useless at it, or just plain selfish.
