Awnings or Not?

Would someone please put me straight on this?

I have just looked at the Late Availability section of the site and am a little puzzled.

On a site in question, all standard pitches without awnings were fully booked; however there was plenty of room on standard pitches WITH awnings. 

Does that mean if I want to book one of those last minute pitches and don't use an awning, I might I be accused of using the wrong type of pitch so denying an awning user a place on the site?
