Members who have visited and enjoyed staying on the CC Site called Stamford, at Fineshade Wood in Northamptonshire, should make a fuss about a proposal to build a holiday resort comprising 70 cabins in the forest adjacent to the site. Representations can be made up to 23rd July at http://www.east-northamptonshire.gov.uk/planning Reference 14/01156/FUL. Those of us who live locally and enjoy the amenity of these unspoilt woods are horrified by the prospect, to say nothing of the effect of additional traffic on the single track approach road.
