Any site recommendations for 5 and 7 year old

Hi everyone,

I am thinking about going out this summer in the campervan with my 5 and 7 year olds and my 8m baby.  This will be the first time we go out without David - he will be at work - so I will be outnumbered by the little ones and I need somewhere where the older two can be kept busy without needing me all the time.

I was thinking about Blackpool because they love sandy beaches but after looking on the cc website it looks like I'll have to drive to the beach. As this will be the first I'm doing it with the little ones I wanted somewhere very easy to build up my confidence. I know that there are great children's playgrounds at the cc sites but if I wanted to go to a playground there are loads near us and we could stay at home.  Ideally I would like to stay at a site where I can park up and not have to move the campervan but where things like the beach or activity are a short, hassle free walk away. Does a site like this exist? By the way we are in Cheshire and I'm still a bit nervous about going too far from home....in case.
