We have recently stayed for a couple of nights at Putts Corner near Sidmouth. Due to the bad weather the previous day we had not been out shopping so we were running rather low on milk - I like my cornflakes at breakfast! No problem I thought, I'll just nip to the site shop at 8.15am. Lo and behold they only open at 9.00am!!
Am I right in thinking that the services on a Club site should be run for the benefit of the paying visitors and not for the wardens. Can you imagine any corner shop/newsagents opening at 9.00am. During my working life I started at various times between 7.00am and 8.00am and it would only require one of the four wardens to be available from 8.00am.
Am I simply expecting too much for my £20+/night?
