I have to vent before I lose the will to live as I'm getting to the end of a very thin tether where AirAngel are concerned. I opted back in January 2014 for the 12 months package, paid my £25.00 via paypal and all was well in the wi-fi world. That was until I got home and realised they had taken two payments of £25.00on the 6th Jan. Errors do happen, so I contacted paypal who told me to contact AirAngel to get a refund of the second payment. I sent an email to Airangel explaining the situation together with the receipt number. I only received 1 receipt from paypay, but that didn't seem to be an issue and a refund was given on the 22nd. All good or so I thought. Fast forward to a few days away in July I noticed that I couldnt access the wifi and it kept redirecting me to the payment options. Not sure what was going on I selected the 12 month package that I had paid for (TWICE) and it asked for my details, thinking this was strange as it had never done this before I filled in my details. Next thing to pop up was to pay via paypal.... clearly I didn't wish to pay 3 times so I closed it down and tried again. Same thing happened. I thought at the time it must be a problem with Airangal, but hey I didn't really need wifi so I left it presuming that the next time I tried to log on all would be well in the world of wi-fi. How very nieve of me. So this weekend, whilst on a site where I had no phone connection I tried the wifi. Same thing, so off I popped to see the wardens. They contacted Airangel for me and gave me the phone. Half an hour of saying the same thing and the unhelpful women saying we've refunded it we were getting no where. She then asked for the receipt number for the £25.00, but when I said I couldn't give her the number as I don't have internet access I realised this wasn't getting either of us anywhere she gave me a voucher code to get me online in order to prove I had paid. I logged on and tried to access the paypal website and apologised to the lady that it was taking sometime as the wifi is incredibly slow she decided to cut me off. So off I trot back to the caravan and decided to email Airangel to get it sorted. I explained the situation once again, told them about double payment and only 1 was refunded, I also gave the receipt number for the paypal account and  told them I can provide bank statement proof showing two payments and only 1 refund. The reply!? We need the second receipt number showing double payment and that I had only paid once and that was refunded. No apology for the time I had wasted over the weekend, no apology for being cut off, no apology what-so-ever. Am I asking too much to get what I have paid for? I've now sent a further email together with 2 copies of my bank statements, which I think is very personal. Surely they should have accounts showing the payments taken? I've also threatened to take them to the small claims court to either get my money back of for the 12 months I have paid for. Am I being unfair or unrealistic? I don't think so.... rant over lol.
