Hi,

Is there any way to search for sites by adults only?

I am trying to plan some relative peace & quiet during the school summer holiday period!

  • I think it says it all,"stay  away from club sites in school holidays" you should not have to,stronger management is required.

It would help everyone if there were a few more parents being "stronger in the parenting" dept to take responsibility for their chidren, rather than expecting others (site staff) to do it for themundecided

Absolutely right, some should be stronger in that department and so should they be, but that has never been any different! This may be a society based problem, as far as the club is concerned they must remain above this, above the minority and appeal to the wider and compliant membership that we are. Let those commercials who wish to appeal to this niche market do so but to in effect ban some of our fellow members for some of the club sites would be totally wrong for many reasons, in my opinion of course, and against the ethos of 'our' club, and rightly so!

If I let my dog run wild of it's lead the warden will have a word, if children are not behaving, then warden should have a word with parents. Next step if no improvement in behaviour should be dog/child owner told not asked to leave.

HQ should have the guts to make it a firm rule. Everyone should be able to use club sites and bad behaviour should result in culprits be asked to leave, for the benefit of the rest of us.

Might we concentrate on answering the OP questions rather than getting into a debate on the merits or otherwise of Adult Only sites which, by the way it is going, is likely to see this thread closed?

Is that a threat, if the "club rep" is hearing things, they, the club don't like?

IMHO the OP’s question  quote “Is there any way to search for sites by adults only? “ has had various  suggestions which will help to find the type of site required.

This discussion has gone wildly off the question asked by the OP. Many of the posts are about personal opinions rather than advice. I am therefore closing this discussion to allow the CM to take a view.

Comment from the Club:

Many thanks everyone for contributing to this discussion and to those who have made useful suggestions. As there are a number of posts that answer the OP we will keep this discussion closed as we do not want it to turn into a heated debate and we already have had posts reported to us.

As mentioned the Club is inclusive and does not have Adult Only Club Sites however there are adult only CL Sites on the Club's network and you can search for these here: CL Search

We hope this helps Miggs and that you have a wonderful summer holiday. smile
