Aderstead Heath seems a bit backwards to me

Upon arrival you check-in at reception and then have to go and find the pitch you want before they will allow you in with your vehicle! Is anywhere else like this?

The problem with this is that it's a rather large site and if someone else has just picked that pitch then you would need to go back to find nother one. It just seems a waste of time to me.

Driving in, finding a suitable pitch and then informing the wardens of which one you are on seems much more logical to me, though i guess that's only gonna work if people actually remember/bother to tell the wardens
