winter touring in spain

has anyone any info on reasonable sites on the Med coast of Spain (say in the Vinaros area)  that are worth heading for in February?  Having read various discussions it seems some of the Spanish sites are a bit rough and poss very busy so I am having second thoughts!.  I am assuming you need to travel fairly far down to get some sun. We have an ACSI book.
