Hi we  are new to caravaning and next year we have booked for the first time  the hosted winter sun holiday at Alannia Costa Blanca arriving early February , staying for 3 weeks . We just dont know what to expect and would apreicate some feed back and experience  from members who have been in previous years to this destination.

Typically how many people go ?

What is the typical weather like ? Rain, Sun Wind etc?

Is there much road noise from the AP7 motor way?

Who are our hosts  ?

What at the 90M2 pitches like, we have booked hopefully Field E ?

What is the indoor pool like in Feb ?

What DTV chanels are available ?

We look forward to your comments

Regards Geoff & Sue

The pitches can get quite dusty but they drain well if there's rain.  Many units have green ground sheets to cover their pitches and they are sold in various sizes in the site shop.  We use our own 4 x 2.5m groundsheet which suits our purposes.

Reference my post back in August, we have now decided to spend a couple of months on a trip to Spain this coming spring and our first night at Alannia will be 1st February.  After 2 weeks there on the CMC Rally, we move on to Camping Javea for 15 nights and then we move up to Bonterra Park for 2 weeks.

After that we plan to wend our way northwards stopping where the fancy takes us and get the tunnel back on 26th March, the day the clocks go forward, so no time zone adjustment required.

Jim, we've used 'Marjal' before and, as you say, it's a top class site.

looks like you'll be at BP around 1st March, we arrive there 13th Feb for 'a good while'...I'll look out for you.
