Arrived in Roscoff 4 weeks ago today. Travelled down to SW, close to St Jean de Luz. Then along Pyrenees to near Beziers. Currently near Poitiers. We have had 5 and a half nice days, ie warm enough for shorts, and sunny enough for the suntan lotion. Mostly its been cold and wet. In the Pyrenees we had to change plans as the snow line was about 1000metres and it was seriously cold.

At the moment its 11C and has rained for the last 2 days without a stop. If you are planning a trip soon, bring waterproofs and fleeces and wellies! Crops are a month behind normal and the vines suffering in the west. We can't wait to come home!
