Travelling through Spain

I am planning to go to South Spain during the winter (Jan-Feb), for the first time. I am proposing to use the Portsmouth - Santander ferry route, and drive to the Monte Holiday site north of Madrid. This will leave me 300+miles to drive to our destination (Marjal -Guardamar site) not far from Alicante.  I would prefer not to drive this in 1 day, so does anyone know a campsite near to Albacete, where I could stop overnight to break the journey.
