Travelling down the Adriatic Highway - NEUM

Have been travelling down the Magistrala (Croatian Adriatic Highway) for many years and going through the enclave of Neum (BiH) in many ways (you don't want to know!). Just booked our trip for this year and always inform my Motorhome Insurer first. They ask which countries will we be visiting for the record. Recently, (two years?) the Caravan Club Insurers have also covered BiH which has made life a lot easier. Previously, I have asked for a Green Card, but have been told, 'not necessary' as the countries covered are listed in the policy.  This year, I was told you will need a Green Card and we will send you one.

That is just for the record and may be helpful for others travelling to Dubrovnik and further south on that route. It could be something to do with the fact that Croatia will become a member of the EU on 1st July this year and their border controls are being tightened up as they will be one of the borders controlling access to the EU from the east.
