A number of specific questions have been raised about what might happen after 29 March 2019 when the UK leaves the European Union (EU). We've identified some information and advice for people travelling abroad with caravans and motorhomes in the hope that it will help you find out what impact Brexit may have on your holiday plans. You can find this here: Travelling after Brexit

We will also try and keep you updated with relevant information on this discussion and please feel free to share information and advice with each other. We do ask that no conversations about politics devhttps://www.caravanclub.co.uk/overseas-holidays/useful-information/travelling-after-brexit/elop - as you know this can often get heated! As such any political comments will be removed but we would really appreciate any constructive comments and information shared.

Latest Update: January 2021

I don't see what all the fuss is about! It has already been pointed out the rules are only the same as were imposed when Uk had the F&M outbreak. We all got by then. Take a couple of meals which don't include meat and milk products and shop locally thereafter.

P.S. My thanks to the Club for the email spelling out all the rules which now have to be followed.

Cannot remember what we took during the F&M outbreka but it should be easy enough to come up with a couple of meals with abit of thought and research. How about onion omlette and salade?

What sort of meal doesn't  include meat or dairy? Even vegetarian stuff usually  has dairy in it. If we are going to have to take vegan  I dont think  I will gowink

Our standard emergency meal has always been dried pasta and a jar of vegetable pasta sauce. Does for the first night in the unlikely event we can’t get to a shop or eat out. That has only ever happened once many years ago, when everything in the village we picked for our first night stop seemed to be shut. Breakfast is never difficult to source in France.๐Ÿ˜€

Watch out when you take your HP Sauce with you, you could be done for reimporting it into the EU. Like many famous  british brands sold off and HP Sauce now made in the netherlands.

Cadburys also produced in Poland.

And so on and so onfrown

And apart from that there is Lidl and Aldi all over the EU so they will be familiarwink

Its about time you brits realise that the EU isnt really botherd about the UK leaving except that they are sad that they dont get any money from you like they used too.

Here in Germany they are only bothered about keeping in with the Russians, thanks to Schroeder and Merkel.

Thats politics so I will stop there.

Keep calm and get on with it, getting a visa if needed I mean.wink

I would have voted for Brexit and I am glad that you did.

"Glad you did"

Dont include me in that. It's a disaster inflicted  on the young by old folks.

Oops, tread on your toes did I.wink

Don`t use the old as an excuse.

Time will tell, positive or negative.
