Hello I wonder if anyone can give me some suggestions. We went to France 2 years ago stayed on a site in Brittanyand hated it, couldn,t breath after 11pm it was regimented and like being back in school. Completely put me off France. My husband is keen to try again. We have a caravan,  Would like to stay a few days in Normandy then go down to La Rochelle as it is apparenly nice there(any other suggestions gratefully received) with a stop on the way down from Normandy and then on the way back up. Will be coming into and going out of CherbourgWe would like a nice relaxed sites that you can have adrink and a chat with a little something going on nice ambience. We are in our 50's so disco and that type of thing are not our scene but a restaurant and bar would be. I thank you all in advance am really nervous of the prospect. Any help woul be gratefully appreciated
