Tips for sailing from Hull

I have just retured from two weeks in the Netherlands and thought I would leave a couple of tips for anyone travelling on P&O from Hull to Rotterdam.

1)  Tickets are not issued, but don't forget to take your booking confirmation e-mail, otherwise you may get a shirty check in operator telling you how hard it is to check you in now she has to look up your booking on the PC.  When I sailled from Dover last year, the check in operator said "Hello Mr InsertYourName" as I pulled up to her window.  Guessing she used the car registration to pull up my details as I pulled up to the window.

2)  The electrical sockets in the cabin are a European style socket, so if you want to charge and gadgets, take a travel adapter in your hand luggage.

3)  After a set time, it was 20:00 on our return crossing, you can buy pizza or a hot dog from the Costa Coffee outlet which doesn't cost as much as the buffet or retaurant if you are looking for a lighter option.  I think this is kept quiet to get people in to the restaurants first.
