taking a motorhome to a ski resort?

2^nd post of the day!

Has anyone had experience of travelling in France/Spain in the snow?

Are the main roads cleared quickly? Are the French and Spanish good when it comes to clearing snow and keeping the roads safe and clear?

Also, has anyone taken their caravan/motorhomes to/near ski resorts before? Any major problems? Any advice for 1^st time tourers travelling to the Alps and Rhone / ski resorts in France?
