Does the club need to clamp down on the sites that it advertises in its brochures?  This year I booked into a site in Brittany that it advertised.  The site was great, close to a beach, and in the main very much what we expected. We arrived on the 23rd june and were one of very few UK vans there. None of the advertised facilities, Shop, pool games etc were open.  The "facilities" were open  but very basic. No toilet seats, no paper Etc Etc. Grass not mowed..  14 days later when we were leaving, the place was starting to come alive. But my point is that we had paid good money, and didn't get too much in return..  I do think that the club needs to emphasise to the French sites that they advertise, - the standards that CC members expect.   for example, almost no French sites have places to empty grey water!
