Beware touring Spain long term .The authorities are leying a tax of %12 on yachts staying for more than 183 days must register as a resident According to a new report in P B O ,

Does this mean that if a C/vanner or M/homer stays in one place TOO long .It is encumbant upon the individual to prove they are not resident,& undertake expensive legal representation.

Whilst most peoples touring would not be a problem ,moving from region to region,we came across long term owners when we were in Spain in the 80s.Indeed we ourselves used to go away from October till march.  JUST SOMETHING TO BEAR IN MIND !!!Pete .
