Next time you are travelling via Brittany Ferries, tuck yourself away in one of the quite good wi-fi zones (free) and using your laptop or tablet entartain yourself and the kids by entering the name of your ship and "location" in your search engine. One of the results will be "marinetraffic.com" and when you go there you will get a very entertaining live map of your ship's movement across the channel. Click on any of the other shps and see their name, what they are carrying, where they are going, their speed etc etc. See how the Ferry Captain dodges all the traffic in the channel. Highly addictive. I have suggested Brittany put it on their own TV screens in the lounges but you can DIY quite easily. Start a Tweet chat with @BrittanyFerries and you will find someone from the company responds personally. Great fun and shortens the journey time. (I was even able to complain about someone leaving their alarm on which was stooging our dog on the car deck and got immediate action to trace the driver).  Bon Voyage!
