Half way between Caceres and Seville is Merida, a wonderful Roman town with ruins to rival Rome itself. There is a campsite there, which I have not seen myself, but it has very mixed reviews..
Why do you need to stop between the two, or is it part of a longer journey?. We have stopped at the municipal in Caceres a number of times and loved it. Merida is an easy day trip from there. Then from Caceres we usually go on to El Rocio, beyond Seville, which is a very easy day's run.
