Security at Chateau du Gandspette?

We are due to stay at Chateau du Gandspette for a week shortly, and were concerned yesterday while Googling about something else altogether to come across a post on the Practical Caravan forum from a couple of years ago mentioning that there had been regular thefts from caravans and motorhomes.

Someone else mentioned that the site owners now employed a security firm to patrol the site.

This is the only mention I've come across about thefts on this site, so am wondering how much credence, if any, to give to the claim.  Does anybody else know of any incidents of theft from there, or what the situaution may be now?

Since this site is bookable through the Club, I assume that it has been vetted for safety amongst other things.  Could someone from the Club overseas bookings team comment?
