Santander sites

There are motorhome Aires and some daytime parking possibilities in and around the city, but the nearest campsite is Virgen del Mar, about 5 miles from the centre. If you don’t want to cycle in there are taxis or a bus service .  Pitches tend to be small so you should ask if they can accommodate a motorhome as big as yours.

Camping Cabo Mayor just outside Santander.   The nearest site to Santander and they stay open if the ferry is late!

You are right, it’s nearer, But shut at the moment until mid April.

I'd just like to add that the site Cabo Mayor is definitely capable of accommodating an 8m motorhome. We have an 8m caravan plus a 4.5m car and we were able to stay there.
