Just an update - we went southwards on Monday, and there is only one diversion sign - sending Poid Lourds (HGV's) on to the A29.  Thereafter you continue without another diversion sign until you reach the route we use, (here) just before the Pont Mathilde, where the road is closed and there are no diversion signs in place.  We know the route and so had no problems, but several cars pulled up in front of us obviously to ask directions.  Prepare well if you usually go through Rouen or make sure you take the signed diversion for HGV's.

On the way back northwards (yes, we've done it both ways in the space of three days) on Wednesday there is no problem, but there is more traffic than we're used to.

I don't think it's as well signposted, or indicated on overhead gantrys as I thought it would be so make sure you know where you are going.

We're now at Chateau du Gandspette, where we're hosting a 'First Timers to France' holiday for the Caravan Club!  Wish us luck - we've never done anything like this before!
