robberies in europe

My wife Susan and myself have travelled to Europe most years since 2000 and have been fortunate enough not to have been the victims of robbery abroad but we have met many people on our travels who have. Would it be an idea for victims of this horrible crime to write in of their experiences which should include the time,day and date and also the precise location of the incident, direction of travel and any aires which may have been used to target them. If enough replies are forwarded I will attempt to collate them. Together we then might be able to put pressure on the foreign police authorities to target any busy areas and/or likely suspects with the necessary action and it will also warn others to be more aware.
