Red Pennant Size Restrictions

We will be travelling abroad twice next year and are considering taking out an annual Red Pennant motoring policy to ensure peace of mind with regard to the caravan.

I picked a leaflet up at the NEC show and was surprised to see that the maximum width of caravan covered is 2.3m (7'6"). Our new Coachman (on order) comes in at 2.32m (7'7") so will be excluded. Surely 1 inch can't matter THAT much - can it?

Anyone else have a wider bodied van and taken out Red Pennant (at a supplement, maybe)?
