I read in a social media group page that the club runs a rally in holland around the time of the flower festival. Where can I get details of that to book?

Thanks

By touching or clicking European campsites at the top of this page , and then Tours.

PS You could pay £135 for 7 nights at Camping Koningshof with an ACSI Camping card, plus your own admission fee to the flower festival…or you can pay £999 for the club to take you.
In both cases the ferry fare is extra.

You might find one of the local centres run a spring time rally in the Netherlands. Check out the centre rally pdf when it comes out for next year (see the membership section, centre information.) I think the Cheshire centre ran one this year?

All good advice above. We’ve been a couple of times, I think the last time we travelled from Delft which was no problem.  We visited towards the end of April.  We ordered tickets online which may be cheaper

Keukenhof Tulip Gardens is open from March 23 till 14 May 2023. It’s the best day out among the tulips near Amsterdam! Every year, more than 7 million flower bulbs are planted by hand in the autumn to flower in spring.

It was way back in 2008 that we visited Keukenhof Gardens, certainly something everyone should try and do once. We stayed at Koningshof and purchased the tickets at the campsite so you have lots of options. The Gardens are about eight miles from the site. We had a caravan at the time so parking was OK but I don't know what the situation would be for campervans/motorhomes?

Just to add that rallies organised by local centres often get discounted site rates as well as other offerings and it  can be a way to visit somewhere at a reasonable cost without pressure to join in with activities etc.

There’s a separate parking area at Keukenhof for camper vans and motorhomes - but it costs €6 and you can’t stay overnight - and the campsite at Koningshof charges €22.. Add those things together and many money conscious motorhomers park and sleep along the canal bank.
