Hi

After 30 odd years of travelling to Italy, France and Spain in rented statics, I now have aquired my own little gem to take with me. However, just realised while planning the route stops etc. that the normal thoughts of "well we can just stop there" go out of the window a bit. So we plan to travel over on a late afternoon crossing and stop somewhere within a couple of hours(France or Belgium) for a night. Next day up bright and early to continue into Germany for another night. I want to do about 8 hours the to Germany stop as our final destination will be Sateano in Tuscany Italy. Any offerings on our stops for the first 2 nights? We plan to go via Belgium and Germany to avoid tolls and it is a route I have used many times (without princess behind me). Also on the return we plan to stop off for a couple of nights in Austria. We have seen Camping Seerhof, has anybody any experience of this site. After being such an expert on driving abroad I suddendley feel like a novice, any advice would be welcome.
