I hope this is of interest to those who use this site

This year there has been changes to the site.

First one is there is now a 3 day minimum stay.

Secondly a number of pitch rows have been taken out (the back rows) which has made room for very big comfort pitches.

Thirdly there are now 3 prices on site, Acsi price €20 these are the remaining back rows of pitches, still with water on the pitch and good sizes.

Next is the front rows, now €23

Finally ALL the pitches on the far left of the site as you look up the hill and some of the larger pitches dotted around the site are now €25. These prices are of course not the long stay prices. All still very good value for money given the standard and location of this site.

How has it changed the site?  Strangely there is more pitches empty than I've ever seen before, that is across all prices.

There is still a fair amount of German and Dutch over wintering here, a few from other nations but of course NO British now due to the 90 day rule. Some Brits are opting to do their 90 days before Christmas some after.

The weather is fabulous today 29c and clear blue skies.

Was a big favourite of ChasnCath's too

We only moved on to Conil as we felt a bit out on a limb there for sightseeing.

We felt that to AD, we can bike into Puerto Mazarron just now but when we can no longer do that it would have to be a short stay.

Its the one site we would consider staying on long term but it would have to be with a caravan.

they are all at Bolnuevo!!!! walked round the site yesterday it is rammed with Germans Dutch & French with some Scandanavians, and some of the largest MH s I have ever seen, have used this site previously but far to crowded now with large Mh's and large trailors sitting on onr pitch, you could be in total sun block depending on your location and of course all the ring side pitches have been taken, we are paying €14 per nigh (long stay) 5kw free 40c per kw there after. Day time temps 22 - 25 degs laughing

Los Madriles has lots of Germans, Dutch, Scandinavians, French and some Brits. Some of the pitches are full, Motorhome, caravan and awning all on one pitch. Not just 1 or 2 either quite a lot. However it does not impact on any other pitch due to the way the site is laid out.

We have looked at and walked the Bolnuevo site before, it's not for us I'm afraid to much like a shanty town. La Manga was the same.

Agree about La Manga. Happy with the location...I was there for the golf and cycling up the 'spit' but the site itself is not an attractive one.
we wouldn't be stopping there again when next in the area.

noting all the tips....thanks👍
