La Manga winter break

Hi, as a less able bodied person I was hoping for some advice on the La Manga site, I use a trike and wondered if anyone can advise on the suitability of cycle routes near the campsite? I am happier on cycle paths but can cope with quieter roads.

We quite fancy a winter run to Spain and the Club info looks good.

Many thanks

J

Hi there, thanks for your reply. Could you give me some more advise having been there? 22km is a bit far for me to go but is the area round the site accessible for cycling? would we be able to get out on the bikes enough to make this a good site to visit?

Thanks again

I tend to agree with a lot of the above. My post was based on thenthough that you might head to La Manga but if your looking for suggestions for a Spanish destination the you'd be hard pushed to beat Bonterra Park at Benicassim.
the cycling on the adjacent paths can take you on level rides in both directions, into orange or olive groves, or disused railway lines to nearby towns. A joy on a bike.

even hills and mountains on your doorstep for the more ambitious.

beach/prom 500 metres as is the real Spanish town. Lidl and Mercadona literally on the doorstep.

do a bit of Googling.
