Hi. Last year we took our motorhome through France and into Spain. This year, we are leaving at the end of May for six weeks and hoping to do France and Italy (poss via Switzerland?). I am nervous about driving in Italy after all the horror stories you hear re Italian drivers and narrow roads. Does anyone know of a book I can buy to show us where Italian campsites are that include whether public transport is available to get into local towns/cities? Obviously, I don't believe we could take the camper into Florence, for example, so a train or bus is a necessity. Does Italy have "aires" like France on the outskirts of towns/cities? Do they have municipal sites? Any help would be MOST gratefully received!  Thank you.
