Is the club there to help the members or just to be run at a terrific profit? for the last couple of years we have visited Europe, usual booking the tunnel with the aid of Mr Tesco. We have decided to return to Holland in August/September this year so decided to make a ferry crossing going over & return via the tunnel. Booking the ferry with the club was no problem, but we declined to book the tunnel because should we wish to stay in Holland longer the club charges £20 to amend the booking, We have returned later than planned for the last 3 times and the tunnel do not charge for amendments. Today i tried to purchase camping Cheques from the club but was refused because we have only booked a single crossing. The first year we took out Red Pennant at an exorbitant cost, we now be use ADAC which is a German association Linked with the AA in the UK much cheaper and have needed to use them earlier this year and found them excellent
