Hallo,

We are in the early stages of planning a trip to southern Ireland, departing mid-October for 2-3 weeks. We've travelled all over Europe, but previous experience of Ireland is limited to sanitised business trips to Dublin, not much use for this trip.

We will be two well-travelled senior citizens, active but slow, in a 6m AutoSleepers Nuevo. We live in Dorset, so Pembroke or Fishguard are  preferred ports. We belong to both major Clubs.

Any advice on routes, must-see places or places to avoid, deals, must-do and must-not-do, campsites or wild camping, in fact anything you think we should know before we go will be welcome.

Many thanks in anticipation of your help.
