Insurance Claim - Good news

Wonderful letter in post this morning.

We had originally booked and paid via CC a campsite in Spain (Camping Cabopino) from 2-Dec until 15 Apr. Our first extended holiday following retirement. Unfortunately our bubble was burst when we learn't of a family crisis and had to return in Jan. Fortunately we had taken out the CC Red Pennant Insurance.

The insurance whilst expensive was obviously worth it. All I did was explain fully what had happened and they acknowledged without question. The result - a full refund of the site fees not used. In addition all of the return trip was completed smoothly and sympathetically by those whom we came into contact with. Camping Cabopino, Camp site in Calais, Vets near Calais, also P&O Ferries who changed our return booking free of charge.

So it is useful to know that when planning a long trip, when you do not know what is around the corner that you can be supported in this way.

A big thank you to the "Preferential Administration Services" who dealt with the claim so promptly.
