In praise of DFDS

Booked a return crosing for £59 using the NEC show offer code (thanks ValDa!). Changed the booking twice due to family circumstances then broke down trying to get on to the ferry at Dover.  DFDS dockside staff were very helpful and said they would let reservations know.  Back to Dover the next day having re-booked yet again and the rebooking was for the wrong day - no problem, they just let us on.  Came back three days early without phoning and, again, they just let us on.

The staff on board seemed more friendly than P&O and the ships are a bit more old fashioned and relaxed - you can go on deck! We enjoyed the experience and will do it again next year unless Eurotunnel comes down a lot in price.
