Going to see where our car was born!

Caravanning for us was very limited in 2011 due to constant problems with our car, which meant we had to order a new one in June 2011 only to be told a seven month wait.  I did book a ferry crossing in October, knowing what car I was getting, using the NEC promotion code with DFDS Dover / Dunkirk  and also ordered the Camping Cheques Gold Card (now loaded up) less hassle than paper ones and then we took delivery of our new car in January.

Finally we have now decided where to go on our 2012 holiday; well, why not take the car back to its birthplace! see where it was built and also learn a bit of history in the museum. In September we will be staying for seven nights  in the Czech Republic at Camping Praha, Klanovice, just outside Prague and not to far to drive to the Skoda museum and car factory. On the way back will be stopping for six nights in Germany at Azur Camping, Wertheim-Bestenheid on the Main river.  Will be having overnight stops on the way out and back.

Shall also have the chance to compare Czech and German beers, while out cycling around the various towns and countryside.
