I have a Fulli (Mango) Motorway Toll Tag and have just returned from a 6 week tour of Spain & Portugal.

After some one way communication via the App I finally have recieved an invoice for September which details my toll costs but also an unexplained bill ( Just a Code reference)for what i can only assume is a fine for 108 Euros!!?? with a statement that says if I dont pay by the 16 October the bill will be 3 times as much!! I received this on the 9th Oct!!

This is the first time I have used this Tag and Have 2 Questions

1) as they have my bank details do they just take the Toll costs automatically or

2) do I have to send them also with my fine ,or whatever its for, to the IBAN attached to the late payment threat.

I have tried to ring them but no one will converse in English.

Help the clock is ticking!

Thanks Eurotraveller.

It took them 7 days to respond ( in french) to my querie as to why my App account showed no trips/bill for September. Translated by Attendant on Brittany Ferries!!

I will try that, but given the short timescale before I trigger a late payment penalty, I will probably only receive an answer (in Frech) after the deadline!?

Hoping someone can at least confirm that my Tolls bill will be taken directly from my account and then just focus on resolving clarification of this extra bill/fine.

My old style tag is with a different French company and tolls are charged and pad monthly with the credit card I have registered with them, But I really cannot help with payment of the fine you received. Sorry.

But it does seem that you were identified to the French police by the new style tag you had displayed on your windscreen. They got your name and details from that tag provider. So in future don’t display that tag, just keep it in the door pocket and simply hold it up when you get to a toll booth and then put it away.

In that case if you are speeding in future the French police will only have your registration number,  and though they may ask the British DVLA for your name and address it seems that since Brexit the DVLA will not tell them. The rules have changed since we left the EU.

I hope you get it sorted.

Although a week ago(only just seen this post as we are currently in spain) I had a similar experience recently. I kept checking for toll charges from Bilbao and around murcia. Nothing showed for almost a month then I suddenly was billed around €80 I had to really search the website to see the itemised bill. I thought the charge was also a fine and asked Fulli for an explanation. I never received a response! Before finding the itemised bill AND using Google translator also thought I had been fined which wasn’t the case.
When I first used the transponder it worked ok……on second trip it didn’t so returned faulty unit, and  paid postage, not inexpensive, new one did work on this trip.
The web site takes some getting used to!

hope it you’re the same and it isn’t a fine.

Hi ronsyl12

Thanks

I have now had the invoice explained by Fulli and you are right it is not a fine but partial cost of my Tolls.

My only problem now is that my bank doesnt seem to want to recognize Fulli bank details??
