Having just returned from a stay in St John De Monts on the west coast of France I was shocked at the cost of getting there and back. It might only be for our usual foreign trip that we have to pay tolls but it has. Evoke so very expensive to travel thru France. Ok so the motorways are clear because the French won't pay to go on them so you can eat up miles quickly but I'm beginning to think that it's just getting too expensive. Might have to consider turning left out if calais next year and going thru Belgium and Germany to get to the alpine areas. Any thoughts?
