First trip to France in a caravan plus the dog!

Hi, we are planning on travelling to France next Summer school holidays with our two children 13 and 9 and our 3 year old Vizsla called Oscar. We were thinking of Normandy area.  Please can anyone recommend any dog friendly campsites and also is the area and beaches fairly dog friendly too.  Also are there any cycle paths/bridle paths where there is no traffic so we can cycle with the dog.
