hi folks, i am looking at travelling to lamfora site in costa brava spain next summer with friends.

they have been this summer and have already booked for next summer.

im just wondering with other peoples advice what is the quickest way of getting there. i.e-is it worth driving for 500 miles (im guessing 12-14 hour drive) then stopping overnight in an aires on the autoroute then  doing the other 200-250 miles next day.

or is it recommended not to stay overnight in aires or doing a smaller journey.

considering the distance im guessing with several breaks i will be averaging approx 40mph.

all views very welcome thanks
