Ferry's Booked!

Our ferry’s booked for Sunday and so is our ferry-pitch at Black Horse for Saturday night. We’re setting out for Croatia for our sixth late-summer tour there. However, we’ve booked some serious beach-time with our grandsons (7 and <2) at St Clair down there on the Côte d’Azur, so we’re taking the long way round to get there.

We’ll be on the road south for a leisurely 5 nights and then after our 10 nights with Family, we’ll be pootling along to Genova and up through the mountains to Lago d’Iseo or Garda. After a couple of nights there, it’s along past Venice towards Trieste and a dash across Slovenia to Rijeka. We’re getting less adventurous now and so plan to then spend 4 weeks on the islands of Cres and Krk at sites we know well.

You may find this sad, but we’ve printed a ‘ChasnCath’ banner and stuck it in the rear window of our motorhome! If any of you CT members see us on your travels, please come and have a chat.

p.s We’ve bought his’n’her Team GB baseball caps to wear in Croatia so that the locals won’t speak to us in German.
