Eurotunnel Pet Passport Control

Not sure if anyone else has had a problem parking at the pet passport control building at Eurotunnel in Calais on the way back to UK but for info we had these 2 experiences this year.

June - arrived while towing the van at about 2300 hours on pulling into the pet control car park I realised that I couldnt drive through it to get out. This resulted in having to reverse out of the car park.

August - Arrived without the van this time at 2100 hours. Car park completely full and there would have been absolutely no chance of getting in with a van on the back.

From what I can see, the carpark is used by early arrivals awaiting their time to go to check in so I assume that this will now be the norm.

Take care as you approach with your van as it may be easier to park on the approach road.
