Cordoba, Spain

Anyone been to El Brillante in Cordoba recently, eg this year?  It's very convenient for the city, but I've read some very bad reviews, mainly from Spaniards - overpriced and poor facilities.  But a few others have said it's adequate for a short stay.

Another possibilty is Albolafia a short journey to the NE of Cordoba.  

We enjoy walking & cycling.
