Convenient night stop for Calais?

We have toured France for many years now and always stopped before our ferry home at La Bienne Assise,Guines, which is very convenient for the port and City L'Europe where we stock up with the usual necessities(like wine!). Last year we did the usual and were appalled by the very noisy quarry vehicles which thundered past the site not only during the day, but all through the night which interupted our sleep considerably. There was a lot of discussion amongst the "brits" who had stayed there before and complained about the noise, stating they would never go there again! Can anyone who has been there recently confirm if the lorries are still in evidence, or have they stopped traversing this particular stretch. The site office were not un-naturally very sparse in their comments about the duration of this inconvenience.
