I think that finally (almost….) the ‘management committee’ have agreed where we are going this coming summmer…. We are looking for recommendations for sites around Chiemsee, ideally not too big - (we don’t need swimming pools and all singing family ‘stuff’), dog friendly. Any suggestions welcome! We are regular travellers into Germany and often drive past the area on our way elsewhere, the idea of exploring the lake and its environs appeals.

Some year go now, well pre-Covid, we travelled around the "See"over a 10 day period, using whatever sites we found.  Seehäusl Campingplatz comes to mind as being quite nice but they were all good.  Frankly you can't go wrong, but in the summer you may now have to book.
