Just returned last week from 2 great weeks in the Loire Valley with our 2 dogs. Took them to the local Vet and had them wormed and the pet passports completed. Before we left the Vets carpark I asked the OH to check that the Vet had completed the passports correctly in terms of time and date. She had put the wrong date on them! The passports said 30 August whereas it was actually 20 August.
The Vet altered the passports and apologised for the error. On our return through Eurotunnel the lady at the pet check in centre asked about the altered dates but we had the receipt from the Vet which corroborated the altered date.
Worth checking the passports when leaving the Vets!
