(Moved from Tips for making Caravanning and Touring Cheaper)

Hi have only owned my caravan since October wished l had done it years ago. We plan to go to France this year and wondered if anyone could recommend a good site. We would like it near to a beach with places of interest to visit, ideally a fairly quiet site (children free) we have 8 grandchildren so a adult only site would be great although if there was some nice family ones that would be good too. Sorry not good at writing this a bit nervous. Also can anyone recommend what ferry to use and would it be wise to stop at a few sites overnight before we get there. Can anyone recommend any good sites on the way down also. Many thanks  Czes
