Just a piece of information for those thinking about this campsite. We arrived yesterday after a break of 4 years and yes, there have been many improvements since we last stayed here, but there still appears to be some technical problems.

It started raining about 3-00pm at about 6-30 the power went off, I spoke to an employee who said it was a big problem and they did not know what was causing it at that time, after several hours of frantic activity, technicians moving around the site and checking boxes still nothing until about 10-00pm when the street lights and lights in the rentals came on but still nothing on the hook ups.  I checked several other caravanners just to make sure itwas not just our section, and it wasnt.  So I went to the office everything seemed to be closed with no one about.  I met a very irate Frenchman who told me that the office was indeed closed everyone had gone and his calls for service had not been answered.  I understand straigthtforward French reasonably but I am not sure what adjectives he used, certainly not complimentary.

I left the polarity tested plugged in and it came on at 12-15 ish.  Other campers have told me of sporadic problems over recent days after heavy rain.

If you plan to arrive with a full freezer have a good nervous constitution.  Everything else fine.
