Camping Cheques

(Moved to Overseas Trips)

I cannot believe I have booked ferries through the Caravan Club and declined their offer of pricing the trip with camping cheques simply because I didn't really know anything about them or how they worked.

That is, until yesterday when someone suggested I should look into the cost of booking a ferry with camping cheques as opposed to just booking the ferry on its own.  The difference in price was staggering.  £564 for a return North Sea crossing on its own or £454 for the crossing INCLUDING 7 camping cheques.  That makes the ferry element of the booking just £357.

Although I cannot use the camping cheques for my trip I am told they are valid for 2 years so it may be that I can use them in the future.
