Breathaliser kits in France

I heard a rumour today that from April this year France is to introduce yet another law to fleece the unsuspecting visiting motorist. It is to make it mandatory for all drivers to carry a breathaliser kit in your vehicle.

Don't forget headlamps should be used at all times in France and that speed cameras should be removed from your satnav.

Has anybody else heard of this new law?
